MarComm CSJ posting_web.jpgAvailable to those 15 to 30 years old, this Canada Summer Jobs role is budgeted for up to 14 weeks from Monday to Thursday, at $18 an hour.

The successful candidate would provide support to the Manager of Marketing and Communications based in our Nanaimo office. The Marketing & Communications Assistant would help to motivate people and companies to donate for the first time, renew or increase their donations. The role includes promoting the work of the UWBC and build awareness on key social issues in the area of Vancouver Island north of the Malahat.

We’re looking for qualifications such as experience with the Microsoft suite of programs, as well as various social media platforms.

Experience in graphic design and digital media creation, as well as knowledge of marketing and communications best practices are considered assets.
